on-site doggies, complimentary snacks, maiko performance
The rooms could use a more cohesive decor theme!!! A lack of an on-site onsen is disappointing for a ryokan experience!!! The breakfast options felt limited and uninspired for long-term stays!!!

The twin deluxe room was super spacious and clean, and the futons were incredibly comfy. Smelling like tatami added a nice touch. Loved that we had a little view of the streets and could take advantage of the yukata. The daily snacks and lovely water bottles were a nice surprise. The location felt just right—quiet, yet close to all the Gion activities.

great stay, but decor could use improvement
The hosts excelled in hospitality, leaving fresh fruit and delightful snacks each day, making me feel truly welcomed. I was fortunate to attend a Geisha performance during my stay, which added a unique touch. The location was ideal, allowing easy access to the local temples and attractions, enhancing my overall experience.
The room's decor felt mismatched and a bit corny, which detracted slightly from the overall charm.
